Professional Background:

What inspired you to become a property manager? Briefly describe your career path and how you got to your current role:

When I was at university, I worked in hospitality when one of my customers mentioned his brother needed a Saturday receptionist. That opportunity led to becoming an Assistant Property Manager, then a Senior Property Manager, and eventually a business owner.

What specific skills or certificates do you have relating to property management? What type of properties do you manage, and what sets you apart from other property managers?

I have my Estate Agent's Licence, have completed a public speaking course, and am a member of Toastmasters. I manage a wide range of properties — from bedsits to mansions — and my many years of hands-on experience as a property manager truly set me apart.

How would you describe your property management style? What do you enjoy most about being a property manager? Share a success story or a proud moment in your career:

I am approachable, practical, and think outside the box — all with a good sense of humour. One of my proudest moments was when a client wanted to sell her property, and her long-term renter ended up purchasing it after I suggested she speak to a mortgage broker. She did — a true win-win!

How do you build relationships with renters and property owners?

I believe in talking to clients often. It’s much easier to build rapport through a phone call, FaceTime, or WhatsApp than through email. Direct communication helps strengthen trust and maintain healthy working relationships.

What do you like to do outside of work? Hobbies or interests — something you’d like your clients to know about you:

I like to walk my dog, attempt Pilates, ride my bike, and have even been known to tell jokes at an open mic night!
