What inspired you to become a property manager? Briefly describe your career path and how you got to your current role:

I’ve worked in real estate for over 14 years, starting out as an EA/PA and Contract Administrator in off-the-plan apartment sales, where I worked closely with developers, builders, and conveyancers to ensure smooth purchases and settlements. I later moved into property management for a change of pace and loved it from day one. Since then, I’ve held roles as a Senior Property Manager and Team Leader before taking time off to have my son. In my current role as Leasing Coordinator, I enjoy staying connected to property management while embracing a new rhythm that keeps me involved and up to date with the industry I love.

What specific skills or certificates do you have relating to property management? What type of properties do you manage, and what sets you apart from other property managers?

I hold my Agent’s Representative Certificate and have extensive experience managing apartment portfolios, particularly those stemming from off-the-plan sales and newer builds including coordinating and attending pre-settlement and defect inspections. My background gives me a strong understanding of both the development and property management sides of real estate. I’m known for my attention to detail and practical problem-solving, always balancing efficiency with my clients’ needs and priorities.

How would you describe your property management style? What do you enjoy most about being a property manager? Share a success story or a proud moment in your career:

I’d describe my property management style as logical, solution-focused, and personable. I take the time to fully understand each situation so I can deliver the best outcomes for my clients, with a strong focus on detail and clear communication. I particularly enjoy the leasing side of property management helping renters find their new homes while achieving great results for property owners.

How do you build relationships with renters and property owners?

I’m approachable and always open to discussion, with a clear and honest communication style. Having been with the same company throughout my career, I value long-term relationships and take pride in really getting to know my clients. This consistency helps build trust and ensures both owners and renters feel supported and understood.

What do you like to do outside of work? Hobbies or interests — something you’d like your clients to know about you:

Outside of work, I’m a proud mum to my son, Fraser, and love spending time with him outdoors — running around, kicking the footy, or riding bikes. I’m also deeply involved with the Bentleigh Football Netball Club, where I currently coach netball. I love the sport and supporting women in sport, and being part of a sporting community brings a real sense of belonging and lifelong friendships that are very important to me.
