How long have you been in Real Estate?
I have been in real estate since 2015.

What aspect of Real Estate are you an expert in, or what aspect are you most proud of that you do?
I spent three years in Property Management. I started out in a Reception role with goals to move in to Property Management. After only 6 months of reception, I was lucky enough to have the opportunity to advance into a Property Management role. I am proud to have advanced so quickly to achieve my initial goal.

What is the strangest/nicest/most interesting thing you have had to deal with, in your Real Estate career?
One of my Landlord’s used to bring me flowers, chocolates and a lovely appreciation card for my birthday and for Christmas. Property Management can be quite stressful at times, so it was lovely to feel so appreciated.

What is the most interesting non-Real Estate job you have ever had, and what about that job has helped you most in your current Real Estate role?
I worked as a Brand Ambassador for Sony for a couple of years. This involved working in JB HI-FI and Harvey Norman stores to promote all of the Sony products. This job taught me to work in high pressure environment and work well with the staff at those companies. Time management and effective communication are two of the key day-to-day skills required for Real Estate roles.

What is the one piece of advice you would give a new Landlord/Vendor/Tenant/Client?
Before purchasing an investment property, speak to one of our Business Development Managers or Sales Agents about what your duties as a Landlord would be and what maintenance the property may need before finding a Tenant. Understanding your duty of care is a very important aspect of being a Landlord.
